Looking for a new deck?

I don't normally write reviews for anything. But, the quality of work and cost factor of the deck these two guys installed for us makes a review absolutely necessary.

First, both of these young men are a credit to their generation. I'm referring to their work ethic. Both of these young men worked on our deck even when we had subzero weather and/or rain. And they always put a full days work in. The work ethic of these two guys is something that's extremely rare with their generation and I commend them for it.

Second, you'd think these two young guys had been putting in decks for 20+ years given the quality of work of my deck.

Third, when we contacted numerous deck/exterior contractors for bids they ranged from 23k -60k for my 14x30 Trex composite deck. After looking at photos of past deck installations of each company my wife and I decided to go with 5th Gear based on the quality of work I saw on past deck jobs they did, along with them being the cheapest.

Both of these young men were very professional, extremely respectful and courteous. They came in and did exactly what they said they would do. When the job was completed they repaired my yard, seeded and placed straw on the area they stepped/worked on. My wife and I were beyond pleased at how they cleaned up after completing our deck.

If you're in the market for a new deck, to repair an existing deck or in need of any exterior home repair I give my highest recommendation to 5th Gear Deck and Exteriors.

You owe it to yourself to at least let them come out and give you a bid.
